Accutane® Birth Defect
The most damaging side effect that might come as a result of the Accutane® treatment is serious birth defect in the developing foetus if a woman takes it during pregnancy. Women should not be pregnant or get pregnant while taking Accutane® or for at least three months after taking the drug.
