Microdermabrasion Cream

Every other scar cream I've tried (for ingrown hairs and the subsequent inflammation and scarring) always works initially and then, gradually, the efficacy diminishes and the problem resurfaces. I have been using the microdermabrasion cream for 4 months and the scars continue to shrink and fade and I've had no problem with ingrown hairs anymore! Please tell your other customers to try this product before they spend thousands of dollars and a huge effort using more invasive means. Your cream seems to be the answer! Once again, thank you for such a wonderful product. I must admit, had I not been so impressed by the detail of the literature on your website, I might not have been persuaded to try yet another product. Keep up the good work. You are helping so many people who have been suffering with their skin conditions. A very satisfied, repeat customer and physician in Palm Desert, CA.

MICRODERMABRASION BENEFITS

Abrading the skin for cosmetic purposes has been an age old practice. Chemical peels in the form of wrapping cloth soaked in naturally occurring ingredients were used to produce wounding to the skin so as to induce new skin growth.

Various more refined techniques are now available for wounding the skin or damaging it to promote new skin growth. Any partial thickness wound results in the formation of new skin with an enhanced cosmetic appearance as part of the wound healing process. The deeper the wound, the greater is the rejuvenation.

Wounding the skin to the level of the dermis, the deeper layer of the skin, induces healing in support cells of the dermis, with infiltration of the inflammatory cells to the site of injury. Healing also initiates remodeling of the structural proteins to produce smoother, firmer, and rejuvenated skin. This process of rejuvenating the skin is generally referred to as ablative resurfacing.

Both chemical peels and Dermabrasion as ablative resurfacing techniques were widely utilized to produce partial thickness wounds throughout the twentieth century to promote striking improvement in skin vitality. These procedures are still available today, but more recently a new and less harmful procedure has become very popular.

While chemical peels made use of controlled chemical burns, dermabrasion utilized a rotary wire brush or diamond fraise to mechanically abrade the skin.

Dermabrasion as a skin resurfacing procedure requires significant operator experience and expertise to precisely reach the blood vessels of the skin papillary dermis but at the same time to avoid excessive skin damage. The procedure also has the risk of significant aerosolization of blood into the procedure room which can be dangerous both to the client and the operator.

Similarly chemical phenol peels produce dramatic improvement but they always carry a risk of scarring and infection.

Both the procedures also required weeks of healing time and strict post operative care because the procedures effectively produce open wounds, a major concern for most people undergoing the treatments.

To counteract these challenges, an alternative that was blood-free, safer and associated with less down time was sought.

And the result is microdermabrasion-- a non-ablative skin procedure which offers a high degree of satisfaction for people searching for effective skin rejuvenation treatments.

Microdermabrasion treatment is frequently referred to as “sand blasting”. It is a procedure that uses a high-pressure stream of aluminum oxide crystals is used to superficially peel the upper layer of the skin.

Mostly in many cases microdermabrasion treatment uses units which are closed-loop negative pressure systems that pass aluminum oxide crystals into the skin using negative vacuum pressure.

But on certain occasions you will also find use of magnesium oxide and sodium bicarbonate crystals. In some cases sodium chloride crystals and positive pressure are used.

In the microdermabrasion treatment you will find microcrystals being deposited on the skin by rapid and short strokes of a hand piece. There is a tub inside the handpiece of the machine. And it aspirates the crystals and the skin detritus at the same time. The vacuum pressure and the particle flow rate caused by it ascertain the volume of particles influencing the skin and causing the abrasion.

Skin depth also acts as a key role in the microdermabrasion final result. It is depend upon factors like flow of crystals, speed of movement of the hand piece and the number of passes per anatomic site.

One of the important Benefits of Microdermabrasion is its anti-ageing effect. It solves various problems of skin include aging skin, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, brown spots/pigmentation, etc.

Microdermabrasion treatment does not include any scratching or scrapping of the skin.

The microdermabrasion procedure is also free from any side-effects that are related with chemical treatments.

Microdermabrasion treatment can be applied to people of all types of skin.

It is no hype but reality that one microdermabrasion procedure can offer the benefits of an entire series of facial skin care treatment with glycolic acid peels without requiring the downtime or recovery time of more aggressive peels or laser treatments. The process "Microdermabrasion" is a lunchtime treatment with many and unique benefits to offer.

Microdermabrasion is of benefit for:

* Aging Skin

* Fine lines

* Wrinkles

* Brown spots / pigmentation

* Acne Skin

* Acne scars

* Congested skin

* Enlarged pores

* Blemished Skin

* Devitalized Skin

* Dull Skin

* Thickened skin

* Brown spots / pigmentation

Moreover, microdermabrasion treatment has proven benefits to offer for the treatment of acne scars that are not very deep. These can be removed with microdermabrasion, although with more sessions than usual, of the microdermabrasion procedure and increasing the rate of the flow of crystals to abrade the skin slightly more than usual. The procedure is almost risk free with only some minor side effects.

There is substantial evidence of patient satisfaction with microdermabrasion benefits. The microdermabrasion benefits have also been confirmed by histopathological studies.

Several of these observations are pertinent to the high level of patient satisfaction achieved by microdermabrasion anti ageing treatments.

Microdermabrasion benefits quite outweigh the benefits offered by chemical peels, considering that the patient has minimal discomfort; there is no "downtime," required for recovery and the patient perceives immediate improvement in tone, skin texture, and pigmentation.

Another big advantage of the microdermabrasion procedure is that unlike peels, in the use of microdermabrasion, patients can still continue treatment with retinoid drugs and other exfoliation therapies without incurring significant irritation.

Microdermabrasion as a skin resurfacing procedure is also included in an intensive or complete skin rejuvenation program. A monthly procedure of microdermabrasion treatment is performed for keeping the skin care program working and stimulating dermal regeneration.

Microdermabrasion is a beneficial procedure to improve the dermal layers prior to laser resurfacing and other cosmetic surgeries. It probably helps by increasing collagen and elastin in the dermis and it may speed up the recovery rate and reduce down time. These benefits of the procedure have been confirmed by histological examination .

The procedure is also beneficial for ingrown hairs and for razor rash caused by waxing or shaving, for men and women.

What is a Microdermabrasion Cream?
Microdermabrasion with a cream is a process that uses fine micro-crystals embedded in a skin regenerating cream to gently remove damaged and dead skin cells, oil deposits and debris through deeper than regular exfoliation, by polishing the top layer of skin either on your face or body. This promotes cellular regeneration, rejuvenates, softens and evens the outer layer of skin.

Skin Remodeling is the Key to Acne Scar Reduction
The removal or reduction of acne scars depends on a process called "skin remodeling". The skin heal wounds quickly to prevent blood loss and infection. Scars are rapidly formed as a "collagen glue" deposit in an injured area to protect and strengthened it. In ideal skin healing, injured skin is rapidly closed and the healed site is slowly reconstructed by removing the residual collagen scar tissues and blending the skin area into the nearby skin.

Scarred collagen is removed and replaced with a mix of skin cells and invisible collagen fibers. The skin remodeling process may continue in an area for ten years.

In children the rate of remodeling is very high and scars are rapidly removed from wounded areas.

But as we reach adulthood, this rate diminishes and small scars may remain for many years. One way to speed up the rate of remodeling is by inducing a small amount of controlled skin damage with a needle, laser burning, microdermabrasion, or by other means, and then let the repair processes rebuild the skin area. A second method is to use healing accelerators to increase the body's natural healing processes aimed to obtain an even better final result.

Microdermabrasion cream uses tiny or micro particles to "polish" the skin and gradually remove scars, dark or discolored skin tissues. The procedure has become a standard practice performed in a variety of settings from dermatologist and plastic surgery offices to some spas and high end aesthetician clinics. You can also try it by yourself at home with BIOSKINEXFOL™

BIOSKINCARE™ WITH MICRODERMABRASION CRYSTALS = BIOSKINEXFOL™

The cream is the same as in BIOSKINCARE™ CREAM but infused with microcrystals so that you may rub it on raised or flat or old acne scars, for the physical breakdown performed by the microdermabrasion helps the enzymes in the cream to dissolve the scars more quickly.

A microdermabrasion acne scar remodeling procedure is best for your facial skin if you have suffered scarring due to nodules, cysts or other severe forms of acne. The treatment will remove the skin's top layer of dead cells and smooth out scarred tissues.

The method works especially well for those who that have suffered disfiguring acne conditions. Microdermabrasion smooths the surface of the skin and reduces skin imperfections. If the cream you use contains not only micro-crystals but also a substance that speeds skin regeneration, then new collagen and glycosaminoglycans will build up quickly and at the right pace and those will restore your healthy skin glow and skin resilience.

Microdermabrasion acne scars removal is an option for people whose severe breakouts result in scars on the face. However it will not work on pitted or ice-pick acne scars that are very deeply imbedded in the skin; it is for scars that are not extremely deep, but are closer to the outer layer of skin.

It is important to note that microdermabrasion is not a good choice for those individuals with the following conditions: rosacea, herpes, warts, eczema, lupus, and diabetes.

BIOSKINEXFOL microdermabrasion cream will further promote new skin cell production in the deepest layer of the skin as it clears dull and damaged skin.

The procedure can takes about 30 minutes and maximum results are achieved with 4 to 12 treatments, depending on the severity of the damage to the skin in the area. Skin in the acne dermabrasion area will be slightly red or pink for a couple of weeks afterward.

You may find your skin to be tight for the first 24-48 hours. It may feel like a mild sunburn or windburn, but no further pain is common. Using a 30 SPF will help protect the skin from sunburns after the microdermabrasion acne scars treatment. Also, some peeling and light crusting may be expected in the area. No anesthesia is needed for this procedure, since it is non-invasive.

Microdermabrasion acne scar treatment is a good option for those who wish to unclog pores and reduce fine acne scarring. Results will last and the healing of skin proves to heal acne scars, as well as overall appearance.

Methods that mildly abrade skin such as microdermabrasion and subcision (needling) are useful in speeding scar reduction in concert with BIOSKINCARE™ CREAM.

BIOSKINCARE™ CREAM is made with a natural and complex compound of powerful biologically protein enzymes, copper peptides, proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans. The compound acts as a biological activator of both the elimination of dead and damaged skin cells and the renewal of healthy collagen and elastin proteins within your skin.

For depressed scars, such as pitted acne scars, subcision with needles is used by dermatologists to break up the deeply buried scar tissue. BIOSKINCARE™ CREAM should be applied before and after those procedures to speed new healthy skin removal and remodeling: the orderly process of laying out new collagen and elastin fibers.

Microdermabrasion evolved from a technique called dermabrasion. Dermabrasion has been around for decades and was used to treat severe scarring by polishing the uppermost surface of the skin with an abrasive, metallic attachment. This highly effective technique requires recovery time, not to mention anesthesia. Microdermabrasion is gifted with a gentler, less invasive skin-resurfacing technology. And, there is no risk of dyschromia on darkly pigmented individuals.

Microdermabrasion treatment
For didactic reasons the way the treatment should be applied is separated into phases that are more thoroughly explained at : microdermabrasion

1.- Home Microdermabrasion. No skin preparation before the exfoliation is necessary. No pre-peel treatment with any other regime is necessary. First, clean your skin with an alcohol cleanser. Then just rub e the BIOSKINEXFOL™ CREAM on clean skin, with either the tips of your fingers or with a dry and soft cloth. Simply apply a small amount to the skin and rub in a rotational pattern. Wipe after 10 minutes.

2.- Application of the cream: The microdermabrasion cream can be applied with your finger tips or with a cloth until redness appears. Leave the product on your skin for about 10 minutes. Then cleanse by brushing or wiping off the micro-crystals. Usually with a 1-2 minutes massage to an area 10x10 cm (4 x 4 inches) the exfoliating of cells will be enough. Note that the entire area must be treated. The quantity to be applied is about 0.5 g per 10 × 10 cm area.

3.- Multiple treatments are required to improve acne scars. Treatments should be repeated every 2-3 days. Superficial acne scars will require a 2 months treatment to achieve about 60% to 80% improvement, whereas it may take as much as four or six months of treatments to significantly improve old, large and deep marks.

General Guideline:
4 - 8 Weeks - for mild or minor acne scars or marks.
8 to 12 Weeks - for noticeable results for old and deep acne scarring.

Results are better and fewer treatments are needed with more recent and/or superficial acne scars or stretch marks. It works as well for stretch marks seen during puberty or many years after pregnancy.

Before starting the treatment you should know that the final result of the appearance of acne scars or stretch marks will be an improvement but never a complete disappearance. So you have to make a final decision when to stop the treatment.

Advantages
BIOSKINEXFOL™ home microdermabrasion treatment offers many advantages and stays within a safe zone.

Presumed mechanisms of action are:
The microdermabrasion is performed to remove some of the corneocytes. These cells are responsible for the impermeability of the epidermis. Removing this layer allows the cream to penetrate.

The goal of the biological cream is to stimulate the fibroblasts of the healthy zones between stretch marks and act also at the depth of the scars or stretch marks.

The glycoprotein enzyme and the moisturizing and lipid enhancers contained in the cream start a partial dissociation of the corneocytes and enhance the penetration of the product by diminishing the superficial tension. Breaking of the barrier function of the epidermis creates an immediate stimulation of the lipids, DNA and growth factors into the keratinocytes that will stimulate their differentiation.

After the action of the abrasion and the cream on the healthy parts of the skin between the scar tissues, the cream also acts at the depth of the marks, stimulating re-epithelization and enhancing fibroblast production.

Caution: Do not use on areas of the skin with severe acne, a rash, or other skin ailments.
