How to Lose 10 Pounds Before a Big Event
Oh no, you've only got a week to lose 10 pounds before that hot date on Saturday night! You're probably staring at yourself in the mirror, randomly cursing as you wonder how you'll be able to lose ten pounds by then. Can you wish it off? Better come up with some other ideas, Cinderella, because wishing won't solve your problems now. However, you can do it and I'll tell you how.
Water, Water, and more Water!
That's right, water.
You can lose weight quickly with water. The human body naturally retains water. So when we drink lots of it, our bodies decide it's okay to loosen its death grip on that all that extra water. Really, it's very possible for you to shed pounds you don't need in a week or less.
Here's how to lose 10 pounds: Drink a lot of water every day. By "a lot", I mean 100 ounces every single day for a week.
If you're like me and you hate water, drink it with a twist of lemon or lime. You can also sweeten it up with a little bit of honey if you must. Whatever you do, just keep drinking!
Eat Smaller Portions.
We're constantly told to eat three square meals a day, but if you want to lose 10 pounds, you should actually eat 6 meals every day. That's right, you need to eat 6 meals a day. The thing is, they need to be much smaller portions than normal.
An example of the ideal size is 1 or 2 ounces of lean meat and, say, 1/2 cup of vegetables like spinach or some other greens. You do that and you'll be able to impress Mr. Hot Pant with the slimmer you.
But no matter what, you should never starve! Make sure you eat, just use smaller portions, and drink that water.
You'll finally be able to slip into that beautiful dress by Saturday night. And hey, after you get home, why not dig into that box of Rocky Road?
